Realism in Fiction?

To deal in fiction with realistic characters and realistic actions is just worthless. People know too well what is termed reality. The stop signs. The bleeding cuts. But instead, humanity pines for the possible. The beyond. That’s the fabric of dreams. But of course, that’s just me talking.
