Why Write?

I write to have something to read that is a kick. I write because I don’t care about what people think – but rather about what, in their most private moments, they dare to hope. I write to push-back the prevailing dystopia. I write to give readers a place to rest in the doably possible. I describe lives too immediate for the maudlin. Bizarrely ridiculous is my sense of humor. I write because I’ve absolutely GOT to; once begun, I simply MUST find out how the story comes out!
